Meretto Hotel LALELİ

A little gem of a hotel in a fantastic city. The room itself is very cosy and the breakfast area situated on the top floor offers brilliant views of the city. I was there for three nights and the breakfast was different every day with a wide and varied choice. The tram stop is just around the corner and the metro only a couple of minutes walk away. What made this place so special for me though was the staff. I have traveled about Europe quite extensively but the staff at the Meretto are easily the best i have encountered. Nothing was a problem to them. Every morning i was given directions for anywhere i wanted to go . On the first morning i was walked to the tram stop and shown how to buy my ticket. On the last night i was sent a plate of fruit to the room and on my last morning they even printed off my boarding passes for my flight home. So thank you Khurshid (Sunny), Shahin and all the staff for a brilliant stay and if i am ever back in your amazing city i will not hesitate to stay here again.

Nice location, close to multiple public transport options. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Room is basic but has everything you might need and it's also soundproof (there was construction work outside our window but with windows closed no noise could be heard). Pleasant stuff and overall we had a great stay!

Quiet hotel, sound insulation between rooms was good, location is good & nice staff specially Mr. Izz Addin he was very cooperative

I had a great pleasure staying at this hotel. - Safety: as a solo woman traveller I felt safe throughout my stay at this hotel, also there's a good safe in the room. - Personnel: very friendly, helpful, trustworthy, quickly sorted my additional requests and kindly answered my questions about the city. - Cleanliness: exceptional. I stayed at many different hotels and here I was pleasantly surprised. Room cleaning is every day, but if you ask they won't bother you. - Room condition: amazing - all the furniture is new and in a good shape, well styled, great bathroom. - Breakfast: great, very big choice - a lot of different salads, fruits, including delicious watermelon, cereals, hot dishes, different kinds of cheese, coffee, Turkish tea, pastry, desserts. Breakfast is served on a beautiful rooftop terrace, where you can also come any time. - Location: very easy to get to the historical center by foot or by tram. A lot of nice restaurants and shops in the neighbourhood. Easy to get to from the IST airport - there's a cheap bus that goes to Aksaray bus stop and you can walk 10 min to the hotel. - Strong air conditioner, it was never hot in the room even when outside it was boiling. - Fast reliable WiFi. - A fridge, a kettle and tea, coffee and bottled water daily supply were a great addition. I'd definitely stay there again!

The staff are very kind and very helpful and professional. The location is very close to the Tram station and close to the Metro station which made our movements easier, and it’s relatively close to the historical sites which every tourist wants to see. The breakfast was nice on the roof in the open air which was a lovely thing every morning , and not crowded. The staff didn’t hesitate to help us in everything we needed even when something accidentally broke in our bathroom they fixed it immediately . The hotel in general was always clean and good for value. The staff speaks Arabic and English in additional to Turkish which made it easier to communicate.
